HISTORY
Rachana Trust - a private charitable trust was established in 1968 by its founder President Shri. Nanasaheb Gore ( now late ) who was a prominent socialist leader of his times. He was also appointed as the Indian High Commissioner to U.K. by the Govt. of India.
Shri. Raosaheb Oak (now late) a close associate of Shri. Nanasaheb Gore donated 6 acres of land on Gangapur Road in Narsinha Nagar at Nashik to Rachana Trust to celebrate 61 birthday anniversary of Shri. Nanasaheb Gore. And Rachana Trust began to function on this very land.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the trust is to empower women by education and upliftment by social reforms. It aims at inculcating democratic socialism and scientific outlook in the society. The trust is working mainly in the field of empowering women by imparting education, developing confidence and personality of women by inculcating democratic socialism and scientific outlook in the society, providing moral, social, economical, emotional, physical and psychological support to the women in distress and also rehabilitating such women.
