Social Reform and Education
Rachana Trust - a private charitable trust in Nashik, India - was established in 1968 by its first president and founder late Shri. Nanasaheb Gore, a prominent socialist leader of his times.
The Trust set its roots and grew in Nashik at the 6 acre land donated by late Shri. Raosaheb Oak to celebrate the 61st birth anniversary of Shri. Nanasaheb Gore.
The key objective of this Trust is empowering women through education, and by inculcating democratic socialism and scientific outlook in the society.
The Trust also aims at rehabilitating women in distress by providing moral, social, economical, physical, emotional, and psychological support.
Activities
The Trust strives to build sustainable infrastructure for facilities that will serve under- privileged communities, and to ensure successful and continued operation of these facilities
